Captain Rod's Speed Handicapping Picks:
Big Brown
Dennis of Cork
Tale of Ekati
Icabad Crane
Yeah, I like Casino Drive in there somewhere 3rd or 4th but I like the stone cold straight EXA with Cork! Maybe a TRI KEY (top 2 spots):
BB over Cork over Ekati/Crane/Casino
Can you believe there is a maiden in this field?

Horsemen don't hand horsemen Triple Crowns. And should a horseman talk much smack, the chances of sabotage nears one. Ready's Echo is climbing up my board....

Final bets:
The Cap'n Ron TRI:
$4.00 TRI BB over Cork over Ekati,Crane,Echo
The Cap'n Jeff long shot:
$8.00 WPS Ready's Echo
And emotional compensation:
$8.00 BB to place
If none of those hit, then I finish the classic season as Monz wants to cash out of life: even.

I made out a little better than indicated. Ready's Echo paid a watered down $7.80 thanks to the dead heat but the Captain Ron TRI cost me three dollars instead of $12.00 due to a teller error. Oh, and I have $16.00 in souvenir Big Brown Triple Crown tickets that I can cash.
The Belmont cost me $36.00 and I made $47.20. At this rate I'll be able to retire in, oh, two-thousand and never....
