  • Sports How SWEEP It Is! - Sports

JETS sweep the stinkin fishKrazy and I like to say that if the Jets finished 2-14 with a sweep of Miami, then it was a successful season. At 3-9, they came damn close to fulfilling that scenario. Still, our talk was not without merit. The 2007 Jets are alright in my book. They swept the stinkin' fish.

    JETS 40 - fish 13

And now a prediction: In two weeks, Baltimore travels to Miami. That team never does Jet fans a special. They lost to Miami on Dan Marino night, for chrissakes. If there is one thing Jet fans want for Christmas it's 0-16. That won't happen. Baltimore will choke in Miami and the Dolphins will end a franchise losing streak at 16. While that's pretty sweet, it's not Oh-for-the-season.

The next time Baltimore does Jets fans a special will be the first time Baltimore does Jets fans a special. Is it asking too much to beat the Patriots at least once in franchise history?

It’s only a special if it counts for something. The only thing the Ravens and Jets are competing for is a higher draft pick.

If the Dolphins go 0-16, that'll be special.

My supervisor is a huge ravens fan too. Not that I pay any attention, but you can't help but know what's going on while listening to the radio stations on the commute down to MD.

Wow. This place really loses its credibility when the editors are able to edit other people's posts without annotating that fact.

Certain the cRavens would blow it, Krazy refused to watch. He switched to the Detroit game because, well, why the fsck not? I was glued. And when the Dolphins scored in overtime, well, it was fortunate there were no loose bricks in my living room.

With a stern face and a rapid heartbeat I come here to make an announcement. I could color that announcement with jubilation or dark imagery but only time will tell if the firing Brian Billick was necessary or yet another stupid move by a Baltimore sports franchise owner. At this time, I will reserve judgment.… so for now… I will remove my hat for the man that brought a Super Bowl back to Charm City. Good luck Brian, you will always be hoisting that SB Trophy in my book!
