The House of Saud - American Empire

Everybody knows how much we love the Saudis's oil. That's why everybody's so shocked about the Saudi rape case. A woman got raped so the Saudis are going to punish her with prison and lashes. The Bush administration is so shocked it can't find the necessary words to condemn them. They're treating it like an abomination and not so much par for the course. Let's look at other abominations after the jump
- A judge in Al-Jouf forced a couple to divorce at the request of the wife's half-brothers. The men felt she married beneath her stature.
- Granted, many American fundamentalist might think this sentence appropriate if bibles were involved, but in Riyahd, an Egyptian man was beheaded for putting a Koran in a toilet.
- An Egyptian doctor received 80 lashes after he reported that a school's principal raped his son. Editor's note: Is it princple or principal? To aid memory, consider this little ditty: "A principal is your pal."
