  • Media Matters Libertarian Makes BIG Mistake - Media Matters
Posted by Jeff (Sunday June 25 2006 @ 11:04AM EDT)
Early Friday evening I noticed somebody was stealing bandwidth and CPU cycles from Blog Day Afternoon. A libertarian was hot-linking to an image on our site. Clearly he didn't read this. I AIM'd Monz and told him that a dose of goatse might in order. If you don't control your content, then you should expect to see goatse on your site. As we witnessed in the Great Myspace War, nothing dissuades hot-linking like a big, gaping manhole. The truth is, he wasn't sucking up much bandwidth. I just hate libertarians.

    Monz: Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Jeff: All right gimme a sec

In ther interim, I noticed the Libertarian hated Bush, too. It seemed a little drastic to send him a dose of goatse.

Jeff: I don't know, man. This guy hates Bush. Maybe i'll send him some boobies or something like that
    Monz: GOATSE! GOATSE! GOATSE!

It was hard to argue with that. Besides, this crackpot probably wasted his vote on Bacarack or whomever the Libertarians nominated. One dose of goatse, coming up...

    Monz: LOL!
Jeff: He needs to rethink his position on the Nanny State because he clearly lacks the mental capacity to defend himself online...

Later we had sushi at our Summer Solstice party. Afterward we went to the GeoGiant's for a little wine. Thinking the Giant had seen goatse during the Great Myspace War, I showed him what I did. "GOOD GOD, that's disgusting!" It may have scarred him for life.

Later that night, I allowed my original instinct rule the day. I swapped out goatse for a set of boobies.

The next day, Monz stamped the move with a seal of approval.

    Monz: hey nice rack

The "hacked" article can be found here. (Careful: At the time of this writing, the boobies were still up). For those at home, here's the uncensored booby screenshot.

Jimmy Kimmel as Karl Malone has this to say about shooting squirrels:

Today Karl Malone want to talk about the NRA. Not the NBA now, this ain't about shooting baskets, it's about shooting people. The NRA is the National Rifle Assembly. And sometimes, the NRA take a bad rap. Folks saying, gun is bad, gun is bad, take away the gun. Now, my whole thing is this. Karl Malone like to shoot squirrel. If they take away the gun, how in the hell Karl Malone supposed to shoot squirrel, with rubber band? That's what make Karl Malone so angry. The 15th commendment saying thou shalt bear arms. Now, bear arms mean bear guns and thou shalt means you should. So 15th commendment say you should bear guns, and you should, cause killing squirrel is a whole heck of a mess of fun. Until next time, this here Karl Malone.
