  • Splat! Santorum Heil Santorum - Santorum Watch
Posted by Jeff (Friday June 10 2005 @ 10:16PM EDT)
I can't believe this slid under my RADAR, by way of The Raw Story:
"To standup and say, how dare you break this rule. It's the equivalent of Adolf Hilter in 1942. 'I'm in Paris. How dare you bomb my city. It's mine.' This is no more the rule of the Senate than it was the rule of the Senate before not to filibuster. It was an understanding and agreement, and it has been abused."
--Rick Santorum on the floor of the United States Senate.
While its meaning eludes me, I think it's funny that Santorum, of all people, should compare anyone to Adolf Hitler.
