Did Hitler do God's Will when he did what he did? Is/was he a part of God's plan (like lets say, the Anti-christ) when he did what he did? I.e.: Is everything that happens pre-planned by God and therefore God's will? Or does our Free Will and the natural system (created by God) that we are a part of, have something to do with our fate and what happens to us?

Assumption runs rampant in this post, a diety, divine creation, supernatural planning, free will and fate. Their validity notwithstanding, I can't find a connection between those phenomenon and the head of the NSDAP. Hitler was a unsophisticated thug to whom a government was handed. Thura brings a good point, was this God's will? I don't know the truth, but I believe everything happens for a reason. Just think of it this way, if the Holocaust hadn't happened, we would have never realized how one person's hatred can start a war. I'm not saying what happened was right, it was totally wrong, but in the end, we realized our mistake. If we had a war right now, instead of back then, it would have been much more violent than it was 65 years ago. With nuclear weapons, we could just wipe out an entire nation. Instead of getting back at the Jews for something they never did, God was showing the world how stupid, and low we were acting, He wanted us to realize how strong our hatred was. Today, people are less prejudice against racial groups, although there are always people who are as well, but events like these teach a strong lesson. I hope we've learned it.

Hitler was a man possessed by happenings in his life, maybe a chemical imbalance or a state of constant psychosis; he thought he was doing right when he was doing wrong. A person who murders another out of crime is doing wrong knowing that he was doing so. A person who can get millions of people to follow him cannot do so by giving a false impression with hatred in mind because people intentions such as those are transparent. Hitler has done no wrong in the eyes of the Lord. Evil comes from God directly, not through the 'free will' of mankind: If you disagree, your argument is with God's Bible. (Isaiah 45:7) “I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create evil. I the lord do all these things”. Isaiah 45:7 affirms that God creates darkness and disaster. It is not a creation of mankind, nor of fallen beings or Satan. The Hebrew word here that is translated as "disaster" could also mean "wickedness", "hurt", "affliction" or "adversity". God creates these things directly. Any argument that stats that evil is a result of Human free will must first get over the fact that the Christian Bible states that God creates evil and disaster itself. Not only does this God create darkness and disaster, but it actively "does" them too. It doesn't merely create them as possibilities for other people, it actively chooses to do them itself. The Book of Lamentations confirms that free will cannot stop evil, when evil comes from God, nor can man stop goodness, when goodness comes from God: (Lamentations 3:37-38) Who is he that can speak, and it happens, when the Lord command it not?37 Out of the mouth of the Most High proceedeth not both evil and good?38

Even more disturbing in some of the posts is the idea that it would be perfectly okay to kill SIX MILLION people because some of their VERY ancient ancestors supposedly killed one person 2000 years ago. There is no civil law in any country, or no law even in the bible itself that says millions of people should be punished collectively for what their ancestors supposedly did. And then we get to the question of whether their ancient ancestors actually did it. First of all, claiming "THE Jews killed Jesus" implies that the entire nation of Jews or the majority of them got together and agreed to do away with him. Clearly this isn't what happened. Saying "the Jews killed Jesus" would be like saying "the Americans killed Joseph Smith (founder of Mormonism)". In fact, a handful of Americans killed Joseph Smith but it wasn't "THE Americans". ie. The entire nation didn't get together to decide to kill Smith. In fact it was carried out by a small group of Americans who took the law into their own hands. Also, the widespread saying that "The Jews killed Jesus" sounds as if it was some group of outsiders did this. Christ himself was Jewish, and this all happened in Judea, so if he were turned over to Jewish authorities there wouldn't have been anything extraordinary about that, any more than an American suspected of something would be turned over to American authorities. However the fact is that Christ wasn't killed by any Jews at all. He was turned over first to the Jewish religious authorities (Caiaphas), who turned him over to the Roman authorities (Pilate). Judea at that time was a Roman province and the Roman authorities were in charge of the legal system. The Romans, that is the Roman legal authorities in the (at that time) Roman province of Judea, tried and executed Christ. So, actually the Romans (or more accurately, not ALL the Romans, but only the Roman legal authorities) gave the order to have Christ executed and it was Roman soldiers who carried out the order. Nobody would argue that this was not a travesty of justice, but justice at that time was still a fairly arbitrary concept. Socrates also suffered the same fate as Jesus and his only crime was that he supposedly "corrupted youth" by holding outdoor philosophy lectures. In any case it would certainly be misleading to say that "the Jews" who killed Jesus, and or even "the Romans", since the decision was made by a single person. And yet the charge that "the Jews" killed Jesus was used in countless violent persecutions of Jews throughout the middle ages and beyond. So to sum up: 1) There is no religious or legal concept that allows for the killing of millions of people to punish or take revenge for something that happened a few thousand years ago. 2) Christ himself was Jewish and lived in Judea, a jewish province of the Roman empire, but he wasn't tried, sentenced, or convicted by "the Jews" or any Jewish person. 3) The Roman legal authorities, particularly Pontius Pilate, convicted and sentenced Christ.

If God were so benevolent and powerful he would intervene or design a more eutopic world. You yourself would have most likely been rounded up and killed. And would you like that? To be starved, infested with disease, to watch your family and friends die? Simply because you bore a name of a certain ethnic group? What makes you feel Jews are not as much of a people as you? You are selfish people. So ingnorant, and should not even be allowed to give your opinion. And you who claim to "know God's plan?". Who are you to speak? If you think God would EVER want to get back at the Jews you should go read the Bible. God favours the Jews, and uses them as examples to represent everyone. When they make a mistake, God loves them all the same, and still has them as his chosen people. Do you think God wouldn't have known fro mthe being of time that Jesus would be persecuted by the Jews? How foolish are you? We are no different then the Jews. How often must you sin in your everyday life, and yet do you think God wants to get back at us? I do not think so. Evil, is a lack empathy. Evil, is the absence of the presence of God. Do not mistake God with the evil of the Holocaust. Hitler was a spawn of the devil, and no spokesperson for God. Perhaps you may have learned that when he committed suicide in April 1945 when the war was being lost. Or perhaps when 23 of his devoted followers were tried and hung at the Nuremberg Trials. And yes, "samantha" you disgust me. Obviously you are some sort of high school dropout who has not yet learned how to speak properly. So I highly doubt if you ever were taught about Hitler, which you most likely weren't, I bet you failed that class, being so uneducated as you are. The crimes committed during that era are so horrible, so injust, the world must never repeat them. The millions of innocent children, killed, or experimented on, did they deserve that? What if you had a child born with a disability? Would you want them killed? Just how sick are you people? Never, ever speak so lightly about the Holocaust until you have weighed in your mind the reality of what went on behind the doors of those death camps, and in the streets of the ghettos. Justice, will always prevail. God, will always prevail. If you think Hitler, or the devil himself above God, you are sadly mistaken. Devout Christain, how ignorant you are! Of course God created evil, for Lucifer was his creation, the angel Lucifer was his creation. And yes, Lucifer turned evil, and is now Satan, the source of evil. Educate yourself before you speak in such ingorance. The free will of men do create evil. Mankind is the source of all evil. And yes, Hitler did do wrong in the eyes of God, for murder is a sin. How many did he murder? Millions upon millions. He brought war upon his country for his own selfish wants. As I read, I am horrified at how many of you condone and embrace the killings of millions of people. What sick, bleak world this has become. Do not be the reason for future wars, do not allow your ignorance to effect the future generations. May God have mercy on YOUR soul, for you need it almost as much as Hitler himself did should you believe what he did was in any form right.

You people are sick. Except that last comment. Hitler was an evil man and God would not approve of any such things. The holocaust was a horrific event, possible the most tragic thing to ever happen in human history. We learn about it for a reason, which I agree that some of you probably have not. The Jews are innocent. And God's chosen people. Now, I don't go to church. And I don't read the bible. But I do know the basics. And I do believe in God. Yes, God creates everything on Earth. However, Hitler was evil. The only good thing about him is: He was possibly the smartest man to ever live. However, he turned that right around by using his intelligence the way he did. He is a sick bastard, just as all of you are. Unless given mercy, you all will rot in Hell. And you can see your little "God," Hitler, there.

your freakin disgusting!!im talking to the guy who said hitler could have saved us. i cant believe u would ever say that. how could u actually think hitler could save. he didn't just target jews or afriacans he also killed his own people,his own austrian race not only them but homosexuals, mentally and physically disabled,freemasons,jehovahs witnesses,basically any christian and catholic believers but i guess u wouldn't care anything about that would u because ur an awful, heartless, inhumane, appalling creature

there is such a thing as god just because he allowed this to happen does by no means mean he caused it to happen. he is a god of love and because that he gave us the privliege of FREE WILL so that we could think for ourselves and not act like robots it was Hitlers and ALL of our choses to choose how we use our free will some use it well and others abuse it and probablly make him think he should have never been so kind in the first place but he hasn't yet taken it away from us so for u people to say there is no god is plan stupidity on ur part we alone will lead to OUR demise without help from god or jesus.
