A panel of religious experts gathered in George Bush's Texas to contemplate the most important metaphysical question they could imagine: If Jesus parked his brand new Lexus at a polling place, then walked into a voting booth dressed in a navy blue suit with a bright red tie, whose lever would he pull? As he stared at the names of candidates, would he scratched his blonde crew-cut hair and ponder a decision or would the choice be obvious?
To answer this question, the panel contemplated the character of Jesus Christ. We must consider that he fed the poor, clothed the naked, quenched the thirsty, sheltered the homeless, cured the sick, preached restraint, refrained from judgement, blessed the meek, forgave the sinners and visited the prisoners. If we contemplate his deeds as we ponder for whom he'd vote, then the answer becomes obvious. Jesus would vote Republican. He would vote for George W. Bush.

Actually, I think that Jesus would not be allowed to vote on account of being considered a terrorist.

And fake Jesus would be in the White House advising Bush ... If real Jesus appeared as a long haired, bearded Middle Eastern man, George W. Bush would be the first to deny his divinity.
