A Blog Day reader treated us to this gem. A pretty decent indicator of how a state voted in the 2000 presidential election was its girth. The fatter its residents, the more likely a state voted Republican. (see chart) A supersized Big Mac meal and borrow-and-spend politics each offer the same thing: instant gratification.

C'mon, you gotta be kidding me!

Talk about Krispy Cremes. Have you seen Hillary lately?

How about Hillary in a cage match with Ann Coulter? Once Ann dispenses with the former first lady, she'll take on the female skelator, Nancy Pelosi.

    That, I'd pay to see.

I know it kills you, but the data doesn't lie. Speaking of data, this Friday, we plan to present a great data set in honor of Stick Reagan In A Hole Day.

    I claim this statement:

    >A pretty decent indicator of how a state voted in the 2000 presidential election was its girth.

demonstrates the fallacy to which I linked.

Huh? You are applying a argument critique to a statistical value that provides indication of a condition? Which logical fallacy do you apply to the Dow Jones Industrial Average?

I can't wait. It's somehow comforting to know how bitter you are, still, at the greatest President of our generation. It must just tear you apart watching the affection being poured out on this man's family, in honor of him, by the masses.

Is it your political convictions that cause you to taunt and mock the dead, or is your morality tank running a bit empty?

It doesn't really matter. No sooner did I type the question that I stopped caring about the answer. Say what you want; feel what you want; have a dead-Reagan party. Your thoughts, and those of the fringest, whacko left that you try to emulate/represent will never change history, President Reagan's place in it, or the fact that you're a dying breed.

Parts of the world are running a little bit high on hate. Thank you for your contribution.

    See ya.

Reagan said his economic policy would create a $28 billion dollar Federal surplus by 1986. In reality it created a 1.1 TRILLION dollar deficit. He said he was going to reduce the size of government. In reality, he made it bigger; Federal spending as a percentage of GDP never dipped below 20% during the Reagan Error. Your beloved President said he wasn't going to sell arms to Iran or fund the Contras. He lied. I can only conclude you prefer rhetoric to results. Reagan simply moved the stage from Hollywood to Washington. He created an illusion that kept you spellbound. Your love is nothing but an appreciation of a wonderful performance.
