  • Blog Day Afternoon The People Have Spoken - Blog Day Afternoon
Posted by Jeff (Monday December 22 2003 @ 09:27AM EST)
In the midst of a solar storm while Fundies prayed for redemption, Ttam requested that I add a solar flare status update to Blog Day Afternoon. It required little work on my part so I said, "heh, why not?" The solar storm has since abated and I pondered the continued usefulness of this feature. Funkman usually writes the Blog Day poll, but I wanted direct feedback from the readers. Following Funkman's lead, I polled the audience, "Solar Flare Status?"

    12% Loved the feature
    20% Hated the feature
    68% Simply didn't give a shit

For the solar flare status lovers, the monitor has been moved here:

    Solar X-rays: Status
    Geomagnetic Field: Status

I voted "heh" because the "active" state of solar x-rays and the "unsettled" state of geomagnetic field means nothing to me. Even if it did mean something, "heh, who cares?"
