Richard M. Nixon was President then. He liked to wave peace signs and tell you he was "not a crook." He taught me that politicians were full of shit. This, of course, was at odds with my civics lesson. That meant my teacher was full of shit, too. Nixon resigned a crook in 1974.

Ronald W. Reagan was full of shit. He denied selling United States government property to Iran in violation of the Arms Export Control Act. He denied that his administration violated the Boland Admendmant which banned aid to military activities in Nicaragua. He whined like a little girl when asked to account for his actions. At least Nixon took it like a man.

The current American President is full of shit, too. He claimed Iraq possessed 25,000 liters of anthrax, 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin, and as much as 500 tons of sarin, mustard, and VX nerve agent. He went to war to destroy that weaponry. But so far the only toxins he can find are the result of industrial run-off. The Iraqi EPA was less poorly funded than our own.

Nixon and Reagan were full of shit. But the current President is really full of shit. Worse, he is slinging dick again. I really wish he'd just find an intern to stick it it. But the current recipients are not interns. They are brown people known as Iranians. According to the man who claimed Iraq possessed 30,000 weapons with capacity to deliver nerve agents, this new antagonist is developing nuclear weapons. He's full of shit. How do I know? Because American Presidents are always full of shit. Of course none of that matters. According to a recent poll, a majority of Americans back the president's dick slinging. They support use of force to stop Iran from acquiring the nuclear arms which this President claims they are developing.
